Drew Kinsman grew up fishing and sailing the waters of Martha’s Vineyard, and has been an avid photographer since the age of 14. His love of travel and scuba diving has allowed him to capture the majesty of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the temples of Honduras, the mountains of Guatemala and the underwater topography of the Caribbean Sea.
Drew pursued his interest in drone photography (or quadcopter photography as he prefers) four years ago after purchasing a Phantom II. Drew regularly travels with his drone, recently taking photos off the coast of Dominica, Tobermory, the Cayman Islands, the Channel Islands of California and the Cay Sal Bank combining underwater and aerial photography in areas only accessible by boat.
Capturing underwater images for ten years, his trusty Panasonic Lumix GX7 with Nauticam housing captures images up to 150 feet of depth. He accessorizes with a Inon strobe light and Light & Motion flood light for video work.
Drew’s passion for exploration and his desire to share and archive the beauty that is left on this planet motivates his work and travels.
